【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesanindextestmethodforthedeterminationofthetensilepropertiesofgeosynthetics,usingawide-widthstrip.Themethodisapplicabletomostgeosynthetics,includingwovengeotextiles,nonwovengeotextiles,geocomposites,knittedgeotextilesandfelts.Themethodisalsoapplicabletogeogridsandsimilaropen-structuregeotextiles,butspecimendimensionsmightneedtobealtered.Thistestisnotapplicabletopolymericorbituminousgeosyntheticbarriers,whileitisapplicabletoclaygeosyntheticbarriers.Thetensiletestmethodcoversthemeasurementofloadelongationcharacteristicsandincludesproceduresforthecalculationofsecantstiffness,maximumloadperunitwidthandstrainatmaximumload.Singularpointsontheload-extensioncurvearealsoindicated.ProceduresformeasuringthetensilepropertiesofbothconditionedandwetspecimensareincludedinthisInternationalStandard.
