【摘要】:ThisRecommendationdefinesameanstoefficientlyrepresentraster-orientedpagesthatcontainamixtureofmulti-levelandbi-levelimages.AnyofthemanyITU-Trecommendedencodingschemes,suchasT.81(JPEG)fortheencodingofmulti-levelimagesandT.6(MMR)fortheencodingofbi-levelimages,maybecombinedwithinthecontextofthisRecommendation.Similarly,ITU-Tspatialandcolourresolutionsmaybecombinedwithinapage.ThisRecommendationdoesnotdefinenewencodingsorresolutions.ThemethodofimagesegmentationisbeyondthescopeofthisRecommendation,segmentationislefttomanufacturers'implementation.
