【摘要】:Uponmutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,wovenfabricsintendedforthisenduseshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1ofthisspecification.ItisrecognizedthatforpurposesoffashionoraestheticstheultimateconsumerofarticlesmadefromthesefabricsmayfindacceptablefabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Therefore,oneormoreoftherequirementslistedinTable1maybemodifiedbymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Insuchcases,anyreferencestothespecificationshallspecifythat:ThisfabricmeetsSpecificationD3780exceptforthefollowingcharacteristic(s).Wherenoprepurchaseagreementhasbeenreachedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,andincaseofcontroversy,therequirementslistedinTable1areintendedtobeusedasaguideonly.Asnotedin5.2,ultimateconsumerdemandsdictatevaryingperformanceparametersforanyparticularstyleoffabric.Thesignificanceanduseofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoversmen''sandboys''wovendresssuitfabricsandwovensportswearjacket,slack,andtrouserfabricscomposedofanytextilefiberormixtureoftextilefibers.1.2Thisperformancespecificationisnotapplicabletowovenfabricsusedforinterlinings.1.3Theserequirementsapplytothelengthandwidthdirectionsforthosepropertieswherefabricdirectionispertinent.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethoddescribedinthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
