【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththegeneralrequirementsandthebasicperformancecriteriaforthedesignandconstructionofalltypesoffree-standingchimneysincludingtheirliners.Achimneymayalsobeconsideredasfree-standing,ifitisguyedorlaterallysupportedorifitstandsonanotherstructure.Chimneysexternallyattachedtobuildingsaretobeconsideredasfree-standingchimneysinaccordancewiththisEuropeanStandardwhenatleastoneofthefollowingcriteriaismet:-thedistancebetweenthelateralsupportsisgreaterthan4m;-thefree-standingheightabovetheuppermoststructuralattachmentisgreaterthan3m;-thehorizontaldistancebetweenthebuildingandtheoutersurfaceofthechimneyisgreaterthan1mChimneysattachedtofree-standingmastsareconsideredasfree-standingchimneys.Thestructuraldesignoffree-standingchimneystakesintoaccountoperationalconditionsandotheractionstoverifymechanicalresistanceandstabilityandsafetyinuse.Detailedrequirementsrelatingtospecializeddesignsaregiveninthestandardsforconcretechimneys,steelchimneysandliners.NOTEInotherpartsoftheseriesEN13084ruleswillbegivenwherechimneyproductsinaccordancewithEN1443(andtherelatingproductstandards)maybeusedinfree-standingchimneys.
